It was a double gate fold LP My copy is badly warped but still cost me £20 back in 94 and was one of the prizes of my collection despite needing a 2p on the needle to play lol :) this upload however is taken from the cd.
If holiday am matterhorne doesn't blow your mind then I would give up listening to music and take up reality television. It sounds like there are about 5 guitarists all on a screaming freak out (no overdubs etc, its live) Great album Enjoy!

Fairport Convention is Fairport Convention's debut album. The band formed in 1967, with original line-up Judy Dyble and Ian MacDonald (later known as Iain Matthews) (vocals), Richard Thompson and Simon Nicol (guitars), Ashley "Tyger" Hutchings (bass) and Sean Frater, replaced after their first gig by Martin Lamble (percussion). 1."Time Will Show the Wiser" (Emitt Rhodes) - 3:05 2."I Don't Know Where I Stand" (Joni Mitchell) - 3:45 3."If (Stomp)" (Ian MacDonald, Richard Thompson) - 2:45 4."Decameron" (Paul Ghosh, Andrew Horvitch, Thompson) - 3:42 5."Jack O'Diamonds" (Bob Dylan, Ben Carruthers) - 3:30 6."Portfolio" (Judy Dyble, Tyger Hutchings) - 2:00
2003 reissue bonus tracks[edit source] 1."Suzanne" (Leonard Cohen) - 5:48 2."If I Had a Ribbon Bow" (Hughie Prince, Lou Singer) - 2:44 3."Morning Glory" (Larry Beckett, Tim Buckley) - 3:13 4."Reno, Nevada" (Richard Fariña) - 7:43
Many will say the Fairports came into their own when Sandy joined the group and to an extent I agree the first time I heard "A Sailors Life" completely dissolved my universe and I mark that as the beginning of my love affair with acid folk but upon reflection and especially after hearing "Trader Horne" Judy Dyble's next project I can also say this that its a crying shame they didn't keep Judy for a few more albums She is obviously one of the most cosmic women who has ever lived, I urge you to listen to this then get Morning way, the Trader Horne album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm2s5V... and I'm sure you will agree. So in conclusion Heres to Judy Dyble! I love you xxx
