"OCEAN is a very interesting aspect of my life. It is part of my DNA. It conveys all things I can't put into words.
Life, loss, love, spirit. As I evolve so too does 'Ocean'. The song was first recorded as part of my first album/cassette,
"Searching For Heritage", which I sold when I busked, then for my first self-titled studio album 12 years ago -- "John Butler (1998)".
The song has been watched online incredibly over 25 million times in various formats, nearly always live, be it from MusicMax Sessions or from one of the many festivals I have had the pleasure to play. I'd like to thank you for your continued support over all these years; it means so much to me. I would like to thank you by offering this first studio recording of 'Ocean' in over a decade as a free download.
I recorded it in my favourite studio, The Compound here in Fremantle Western Australia, a studio you helped me build.
This marks just another fleeting moment in a career that is very much ongoing.

As a modern-day Troubadour Estas Tonne' travels countless places and finds himself in several cultural references without identifying himself with a single nation or country, rather with the cultural richness of the world. His music is therefore a reflection of many approaches. A fusion of classical structure, technique of Flamenco, roots of Gypsy, characteristics of Latin and Electronic Soundscape -- a variety of styles flowing into each other almost unnoticed and showing up as surprises in a harmonious structure of sound to which the guitar is producing its wavelength - reaching out differently in each performance, yet always uniquely formed in melody.

His music is getting shaped by emotional expression and a wide range of audible elements, coming not from various music genres only, but from the access to emotions itself. They weave the sparkle of joy into the music, the tension of challenges, the gentleness of openheartedness, the grace of divine connection and the fire element springing from human's anger, from doubt or from the passion that life has to offer.

Two opposites are the fields from where the music is formed. It is the underlying structure of "I know" and the additional uniqueness of improvisation with the starting point of "I don't know". This particular approach of creating music encompasses both, the foundation and freedom in the same time.

Estas Tonne' performs at concerts, conferences, Street, Yoga, Art or other Festivals etc., yet he is involved in collaborations that range from different film projects, poetry, meditation to dance, circus or bubble art. In his recent involvement in the film project "Time of The Sixth Sun" he is featuring the traveling musician and the Troubadour's co-creational meaningful impact in society and in the world.

      Ana Vidović (née le 8 novembre 1980 à Karlovac, à côté de Zagreb, en Croatie) est une guitariste classique d'origine croate.

    Elle commence la guitare à 5 ans, inspirée par son frère Viktor. Elle commence sa carrière internationale à l'âge de 11 ans et devient, à 13 ans, la plus jeune élève jamais intégrée au National Musical Academy de Zagreb[réf. souhaitée]. Elle aura comme professeur Istvan Romer.

     Sa réputation en Europe lui permet ensuite d'étudier au Peabody Conservatory de Baltimore, aux États-Unis, avec Manuel Barrueco. Elle en sortira diplômée en mai 2003.

Tatyana Ryzhkova est né en 1986 à Minsk, la capitale du Bélarus. À l'âge de 10 ans, elle a pris ses premières leçons de guitare depuis le meilleur professeur de musique du Bélarus, V.V.Gromov. Grâce à son talent, la persévérance et la direction de son professeur, elle était en mesure d'atteindre un niveau de compétence élevé, ce qui lui permet d'effectuer avec succès à un concours international de duos en Pologne. Comme la plus jeune compétitrice, Tatyana a obtenu la note la plus élevée de son groupe et a reçu un diplôme honorifique.

Hi there! I made this arrangement this weekend. Actually I was starting on an arrangement for Beatles "The Fool on the Hill" but ended up with this. Don't ask me how.
This is not exactly a "canon". It's more a Passacaglia. The "vamp" D A Bm F#m G D G A. is repeated all the time with variations.
I hope you like my version.

Ana Vidović (born 8 November 1980 in Karlovac, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia) is one of the youngest virtuoso guitarists in the world. She started playing guitar at the age of five, inspired by her brother Viktor. By the age of 11 she was performing internationally, and at 13 became the youngest student to attend the prestigious National Musical Academy in Zagreb where she studied with Professor Istvan Romer. Vidović's reputation in Europe led to an invitation to study at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, U.S., with Manuel Barrueco, from where she graduated in May 2003. In an interview, she has stated that she plays lots of scales and uses a metronome.[1]

Vidović has won an impressive number of prizes and international competitions all over the world. These include first prizes in the Albert Augustine International Competition in Bath, England, the Fernando Sor competition in Rome, Italy, and the Francisco Tárrega competition in Benicasim, Spain. Other top prizes include the Eurovision Competition for Young Artists, the Mauro Giuliani competition in Italy, the Printemps de la Guitare in Belgium, and the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York.

Ana Vidović has given over one thousand public performances since first taking the stage in 1988. Her international performance career includes recitals in London, Paris, Vienna, Salzburg, Rome, Budapest, China, Warsaw, Tel Aviv, Oslo, Copenhagen, Toronto, Baltimore, San Francisco, Knoxville, Houston, Austin, Dallas, St. Louis, Jakarta,and Zuidlaren.
