Rock 'n' Roll es un álbum de temas clásicos del rock'n'roll de los años cincuenta y sesenta versioneados por el músico británico John Lennon y publicado por Apple Records en 1975. La grabación de Rock 'n' Roll duraría cerca de un año y sus caóticas sesiones de grabación entrarían dentro de las leyendas de la música rock.
Rock 'n' Roll supondría otro éxito en la carrera de John Lennon, alcanzando el puesto #6 en el Reino Unido y en Estados Unidos, y siendo certificado como disco de oro por la RIAA.
Poco después de la publicación de Rock 'n' Roll, Yoko Ono comunicó a John su embarazo. Decidido a no perder otro bebé tras tres abortos consecutivos de su esposa, Lennon abandonó de forma momentánea su carrera musical para dedicarse a su familia. Sean Lennon nacería el 9 de octubre, el mismo día en que John cumplió 35 años.
En 2004, Yoko Ono supervisó una remezcla de Rock 'n' Roll para su reedición, incluyendo cuatro temas adicionales de las sesiones de grabación de Spector.

John y Yoko realizan dos conciertos a beneficio llamados One To One (uno en la tarde y otro en la noche) en el Madison Square Garden en Nueva York con The Plastic Ono Elephant's Memory Band, hecho a beneficio de la escuela para niños de Willowbrook.

Los shows, organizados por el periodista Geraldo Rivera de ABC, también tiene a la maravillosa estrella de Motown, Stevie Wonder, Roberta Flack y Sha Na Na. Antes de los conciertos, John compra boletos, por valor de $60.000, para el concierto y los da a recogedores voluntarios de fondos. El acontecimiento recaudará más de $1.5 millones para la escuela Willowbrook. Mientras la muchedumbre entra al estadio, les dan una pandereta y se le pide que lo sacudan durante el concierto (Se emite el show en vivo por la radio en el programa The King Biscuit Radio Hour).

Empezando la última canción Yoko dice: Quiero leerles una declaración de un político conocido: "Las calles de nuestro país están en plena agitación. Las universidades se llenan de estudiantes que se rebelan y se desenfrenan. Los comunistas están intentando destruir nuestro país. Rusia nos está amenazando con su fuerza. Y la República está en peligro. ¡Sí! peligro de adentro y afuera. ¡Necesitamos ley y orden! Sin ley y orden nuestra nación no puede sobrevivir. Las calles de nuestro país están en la agitación. Las universidades se llenan de los estudiantes que se rebelan y se desenfrenan". Esto fue dicho por Adolfo Hitler, 1932. Y John agrega: TODO LO QUE DECIMOS ES QUE LE DEN UNA OPORTUNIDAD A LA PAZ!!!
