Nihonjin - Far Out (1973) Full Album whit Bonus Tracks

The flow of psychedelic that happened in the latter half of the 1960's visits Japan at once and has extended. At that time, the power to involve demonstrated the power of the counterplan enough as cultures such as music and the arts and plays. An original custom of Japan and the thought of the Orient exactly appeared enough to the music of psychedelic in Japan. Or, the deriving music exhausted the musician in various Japan as one flow. A lot of bands in Japan influenced by the music of the United States and Britain for the situation of Japanese music at that time existed and the band in known Japan existed as a result of digesting those elements also in the world now. Members of the band in various Japan created original music in the one flow while studying hard mutually valuing the flow. And, it was one band to which this "Far Out" had started also establishing an original route in the flow of such music.
It was at 1971 that they were formed. It is said that they were performing music that exactly receives the influence of Hard Rock at that time and makes Rock a center. However, the music character has been improved while gradually taking the element of psychedelic. The band in a lot of Japan made original music of Japan absorb the music such as psychedelic, Blues, and Rock and created without limiting the activity such as bands of Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and psychedelic of the other to the band in Japan and influencing and limiting it to them.
In the back, this band to which Fumio Miya[&*!#]a is mainly formed will change the form into "Far East Family Band". It is known as a band of the antecedent to the arrival there. However, the listener who knew this band became in the minority also in Japan now. However, it is likely to be able to count as one of the bands that support the dawn of the music of Japan very important band.
Involved power and flow of "Too Many People" create one space. The culture and the thought of the Orient in Japan might be reflected well though it looks like the sound of initial Pink Floyd and King Crimson. The progress of the sound of the float in the space exactly feels the sound of psychedelic and a few Blues. The guitar of Eiichi Sayu will exactly invite the listener to the world of psychedelic.
"Nihonjin" can be translated into "Japanese". The entire flow of the album is united. The culture and the thought of the Orient are reflected in music as for this tune. It advances with quiet power and progress.
In Japan at that time, such a lot of bands existed. If the situation of music the meaning of the existence of this band and at that time is considered, it is likely to be able to enjoy it as one of the bands to which Japan is psychedelically related though this band certainly becomes a mother's body and it connected with Far East Family Band.

A Meditation Mass - Yatha Sidhra (1974) Full Album.

A Meditation Mass - Yatha Sidhra (1974) Full Album

Another great, but little known gem of Krautrock. "A Meditation Mass" is perhaps the rarest album to be found on the Brain label, and it went through two versions: the original with the diecut cover, and the one without. Don't bother tracking down the LP (either version), as they don't exactly grow on trees. Later on, when reissued on CD, The Laser's Edge issued it in '92 with the diecut cover, and in '95, Spalax in France issued it without the diecut.
If you're a fan of ASH RA TEMPEL, or early, percussion-dominated POPOL VUH, then this is for you. Given the title is "A Meditation Mass", expect the music to be laid-back, don't expect raw, aggressive, and mindblowingly intense passages like you might get with ASH RA TEMPEL at times. YATHA SIDHRA featured the guitar/keyboards (keyboards include Moog synthesizer and Hohner Pianet) of Rolf Fichter and drums/percussion of Klaus Fichter (presumably brothers) with tons of beautiful flute from Peter Elbracht and guitar/bass of Matthias Nicolai.
The album is basically one long cut divided by four parts. Lots of nice, meditative passages, with some jazzy passages at times, especially "Part 2" and "Part 3". "Part 4" is mainly themes from throughout the album revisited. The guitar work often brings to mind Manuel Göttsching, but he often played his guitar more in the style of a sitar, in an attempt to create a droning effect. And given the band name is very obviously Eastern (presumably Sanskrit), little surprise that the cover artwork is very Eastern influenced, Indian style, of course. While most of the music is instrumental, Rolf Fichter provides the occasional vocals as well, nothing intrusive. This is truly an album that needs multiple listens, because it more or less keeps the same pace throughout. There are a few exceptions, especially the jazzier sections of "Part 3", where the band tries something a little more intense. Regardless, a truly wonderful gem of Krautrock.

Dirty Dave Osti Voodoo Guitar Full Album

Dirty Dave Osti Voodoo Guitar Full Album

4 1/2 Stars = Minor Masterpiece
Dirty Dave Osti's, "Voodoo Guitar" album is a bit of a conundrum? His heavy, high energy blues/rock, infused with equal parts, southern rock & 70's heavy metal blooze boogie, sound like many bands, but then again, nobody, but Dirty Dave Osti. The man is an obvious guitar virtuoso, whose writing skills match his playing skills. His gravely emotive voice pastes well onto these songs, like rock in a well worn gravel road. The songs their selves are filled with butt shaking tempos & riffs, welded together by Osti's killer phrasing, tone & sustain, as he plays his guitar from a snails crawl to well constructed lighting fast runs of pure electrifying virtuoso energy. These songs stick in your mind, greasing up the ball bearings of Osti's muse to yours, in a barrage of sonic delight.
If you like Pat Travers, ZZ Top, Foghat, Mahogany Rush, Joe Bonamassa, or newer artist like Black Country Communion, Lance Lopez, & Scarlet Runner, then it's well worth your time to crank this one up!

Status Quo - Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon - Full Album 1970

Status Quo - Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon - Full Album 1970

Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon is the third album by English rock band Status Quo. It was the first album by the band to leave behind their early psychedelic sound and begin experimenting with the hard rock style which remains their signature sound, as well as the last album to feature keyboardist Roy Lynes. The new album was released in August 1970, and failed to chart.
The band began experimenting with the new sound when they hired Australian singer-songwriter Carl Groszmann to write a song for them[citation needed]. The song became 'Down the Dustpipe', which was released as a non-album single in March 1970, with the Rossi/Parfitt song 'Face Without a Soul' from the band's previous album Spare Parts as its b-side. In Francis Rossi's words, "it was the first record to feature our soon-to-be trademark boogie shuffle". It became one of the most popular numbers in their live set. The single took the media by surprise as it was so different in sound from their previous work. Radio 1 presenter Tony Blackburn dismissed it on air the first time he played it with the comment, "Down the dustbin for this one." Nevertheless, it was an instant hit, reaching #12 in the UK singles chart and remaining in the top-50 for a solid 17-weeks.
October 1970 saw the release of yet another non-album single, this time a Rossi/Parfitt composition - 'In My Chair', with the non-album b-side 'Gerdundula' (written while in Germany by Rossi and Young under the pseudonyms of Manston and James, with a title reportedly inspired by their German friends Gerd and Ula) - and the band had another hit, with the single reaching #21, just missing the top-20. 'Gerdundula' would later be re-recorded by the band for their next album, Dog of Two Head.
